Monochrome moods

 It has been some time since my last blog post but after a couple of good days out over this last weekend, I feel compelled to share my thoughts and a few images. 

In the last few days, a new (to me) compact camera has joined the ranks in the form of a Sony RX100 V, so I was keen to get out and about to see what the camera could do. 

Saturday's outing to Foggintor on Dartmoor was the first shoot, on a cloudy afternoon with a mixture of sunshine and showers.

On Sunday, it was a local walk along Exeter's riverside country park, where I was presented with a wonderfully atmospheric misty landscape and did I ever make the most of that!

Both days saw my ever increasing passion for black and white images come to the fore but with such inspiring landscapes, it was an easy excuse to feed this photographic addiction.
