A look ahead to 2025

 With 2025 just around the corner, I have started looking at ideas for my photography in the new year, and to share a few favourite images from this photographic year.

Without a doubt, my addiction to the square format will continue as a long term project in the new year, along with more monochrome images, I am considering adding to this with a one lens project as well, just for an added challenge.

In terms of brand new gear, I still see no point for my current way of shooting, while my retro collection has some limitations, they are a whole lot of fun to shoot with and do everything I currently need them to do.

One of my first digicams is slowly giving up the ghost, the Lumix LX5 has an issue with changing aperture and exposure settings with the dedicated thumb wheel and while I have explored a few tips online to solve the issue, none have worked but I have had more than money's worth from this little gem over the last 2-3 years!

I have started shooting more and more with my olympus 45mm 1,8 lens in the last month or two, it is a focal length that I am less familiar with but am enjoying seeing the results this lens brings. 

Of course there will still be this blog, sadly this year I have posted less than I would like but any potential project will hopefully keep my content varied enough to post more.
