This one is for keeps

  Without doubt, I have gone through a cycle of buy, sell and regret too many times with my photography gear, each new purchase has been the one to make me the photographer I want to be but of course, something else catches my eye and I sell previous purchases to fund the new. This has happened again in the last few months, where I bought one of my favourite lenses for the Micro four thirds system, the Panasonic Leica 25mm F1.4, a lens that I had used and loved once before but inevitably sold on for what was a decent profit but immediately regretted my haste. When I saw another of these lenses at a very good price in a local camera store, I knew I would buy it once more, with the intent to use it in a new photography project focusing on the 50mm (in full frame terms) focal length. Of course I should have kept the other lenses instead of selling them on but I truly believe that my need for gear acquisition is diminishing and this one is for keeps.  I managed a couple of outings...
