Monochrome again!
Last Sunday's first shoot with the new kid on the block, a Sony RX100V, was so much fun, I decided to have another shoot, just to familiarise myself a little more with this pocket rocket.
Last week's mist and fog was replaced with brighter skies and harsher light but I am keen to see how the camera copes in all conditions.
As with my other compact cameras, I like to shoot in the square format, this is easily set up via a function button, along with my other frequently used settings.
One small niggle I had with the camera initially, was the lack of any decent grip, the camera could easily slip from the hand but clearly Sony wanted to make this camera to the very definition of compact.
This issue has been resolved with the purchase of a third party grip, which attaches to the camera via the tripod mount fixing,
Even with the grip attached, the 'V' still slips easily into a pocket, perfect!
A handful of shots from my Sunday amble, I will post the colour ones in my next post.
